The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The present lot is offered in very good overall condition. The dial is starting to show signs of spotting around the edges, most notably around the 3’o clock. The dial has been well restored. The hands are clean and starting to develop a nice patina. The numerals are developing a patina more heavily on the 12, 1, 2, and 5 numerals. The case is in very good condition with light signs of wear consistent with the age of the watch. There is a hallmark located on the 4’o clock side of the case. The hallmark is visible featuring a Helvetia mark but is worn therefore needing a loop/ microscope to see clearly. The deployant clasp is in overall very good condition consistent with the wear of the case. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
