The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The present lot is offered in good overall condition. The dial is clean and appears to have beenreplaced during service. The lume no longer holds charge when flashed with a black light. The sub-dials are clean. The hands and indexes are uniform and consistent. The bezel has light signs of wear and the plexi crystal has very light surface scratches. The case is in good overall condition with light wear consistent with the age of the watch. There is a mark between the case back and case appearing to be very light impact wear on the 7 o clock side of the case. The case engravings between the lugs at “6” and “12” are extremely worn and visible with a loupe. The case back is a service case back stamped “6263” although the watch is a reference 6262. The bracelet is in overall good condition with signs of wear uniform with the case. The bracelet is a service replacement, stamped 371 on the lug piece, and 7835, 19 is stamped where the bracelet links start. The service replacement claspis in good condition with light signs of wear consistent with the bracelet. The clasp is stamped “Rolex”,”Steelinox”, “M9”, “7835” the hallmarks are worn but still legible. The chronograph function starts, stops and resets. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
