Sale Overview

300 years of British Drawings will offer drawings and watercolours from the 18th to 20th Centuries, across a broad range of British movements and styles. From James Thornhill to Augustus John, and including work by Thomas Rowlandson, Edward Lear, Edward Burne-Jones and William Orpen, the sale will demonstrate the interactions between British draughtsmen of different centuries. With estimates starting from £800 the sale offers a fantastic opportunity for both new and established collectors.

A selection of highlights of the sale will be on view at our King Street location from 3 December – 7th December.

Christmas / Holiday Shipping Notice

To be able to ship your property in advance of the holidays, payment for property and/or shipping must be received by on Wednesday, 2 December for any European road shuttles or international airfreight shipments and Friday, 11 December for any UK road shuttles and domestic or international courier shipments. Please note that Christie’s is not responsible for delays in international shipments due to customs and export licenses.
