The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

There are scattered lines of craquelure following the grain of the wood. There are a few scattered hairline and circular cracks, including one at upper left to the gold background. There is a line of discoloration to the rocks to the right of the sheep at lower center. There are scattered touch-ups, primarily to the gold leaf decoration.
