The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Overall with some minor scratches and scuffs as well as wear to the gilding consistent with age and use, with tiny splits just above and below the marks on the side rim, like from striking, another tiny split to the back just below the rim, generally good condition.
The marks to the underside of the heel include maker's mark for Hanau, and retailer's mark BM for Berthold Muller, the marks to the side of the rim include retailer's mark BM for Berthold Muller, and import marks for Chester, 1900.
