Please note antique textiles exhibit wear, losses, soiling and tears from normal use and repurposing. Some elements are re-pieced together with complimentary or contemporaneous textiles to mend.
A large panel of heavily brocaded silk with pomegranates and flowers: 22 in. () wide, 641⁄8 in. () long. Overall in good condition. Some scattered minor rubbing and wear. Some areas where metallic thread is rubbed and revealing base thread beneath.
A heavily brocaded silk in shades of peach, green, cream, and red and edged in gold ribbon: 25 in. (63.5 cm.) wide, 485⁄8 in. (123.5 cm.) long. Pieced, overall with scattered minor discoloration and spot stains. Scattered rubbing, abrasions, and shattering to the silk ground and brocade. Areas of silk loss, fraying and repairs. The ribbon similarly conditioned. Lined in a waxed rose cloth, also pieced, with fading, discoloration and areas of staining and water damage.
A heavily brocaded silk with large scale leaves and pomegranates, edged in metallic gold ribbon and a burgundy cut velvet trim: 251⁄2 in. (64.8 cm.) wide, 631⁄4 in. (160.7 cm.) long. Overall in good condition. Scattered rubbing and abrasions to the gold ground and brocade with some minor snags and fraying. A few small areas of shattering to the silk ground. The gold ribbon with areas of rubbing, fraying and losses to the metallic wrapped threads revealing base threads beneath. The cut velvet trim with some rubbing and pile loss to the uncut velvet and fraying to the tassels. Lined in a raspberry cloth with scattered staining and heavy discoloration.
