The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Please note antique textiles exhibit wear, losses, soiling and tears from normal use and repurposing. Some elements are re-pieced together with complimentary or contemporaneous textiles to mend.

Overall with some discoloration and fading. The ground with scattered all over shattering to the ground, including some areas with later patch repairs. The chevron and rope twists threads with fraying and losses. The polychrome floral and foliate embroidery with minor areas of rubbing. The later linen backing with separation to the upper left corner and areas of spot staining; with a pocket for a curtain rod along the top.
