Christie’s Antiquities sales will offer a strong selection of works of art from across the ancient Mediterranean world, including Greece, Italy, Egypt and the Near East, dating from the Neolithic period through to 1000 A.D. 

We are delighted to include in our various-owners sale many important ancient treasures including a beautiful Greek bronze Corinthian helmet from the late 6^th century B.C., a stunning late Greek marble head of Apollo from the famed dealer Mathias Komor and a group of Greek vases from the Los Angeles collectors Hanita and Aaron Dechter. Another notable highlight is a collection of carved Etruscan and Roman gemstones from the collection of Sir Arthur Evans.
