Our first European Single Owner Sale of Antiquities online will offer a coherent selection of objects of the same exceptional quality, condition and aesthetic value. Through this carefully chosen group of objects, ranging in dates from the Neolithic Period to the Roman Empire and geographically from Greece to the Middle East, we wish to present the taste and lifestyle of the collector who assembled them over decades of meticulous selection.
Each object has seduced the eye of the collector thanks to its own unique qualities, and together they represent his very personal view of ancient beauty and aesthetics.
The sale includes a selection of rare ancient idols including a Vinca figure dating to the 5th Millennium B.C., a Cycladic ‘violin’ idol from the 3rd Millennium B.C. and a beautifully decorated terracotta goddess from the region of Boeotia dating to the 6th Century B.C. Collectors will also have the opportunity to acquire Greek bronze helmets of the most iconic styles: Corinthian, Illyrian and Chalcidian.
