The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- the metal work is loose with some small parts missing, particularly to one side of the handle
- there's expected tarnishing to the metal work
- some expectd cracks, small areas of loss and wear to the lacquer
- a few small areas of repair with associated losses to the interior of one tray
- splits to all base boards, and some irregularities/flaws to the base board of one tray
- the lacquered insert of one tray has cracks, small losses and lifting to one corner
- expected small losses and wear to the wicker
