The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- the bird feeder with a few nicks to the rim of the spout and a small shallow chip to one lower corner of the reverse, the top edge is irregular with probable old chips
- the brush rest is in overall good conditon with a shallow chip to the reverse and some minor glaze bubbles as well as a few firing cracks to the base
- the figure with chips and losses to the extremities includeing the thumb, the ribbons on the side of the head, the brim of the hat the end of one ribbon, also with expected burst glaze bubbles and minor firing cracks, possible filled chip to the end of the sleeve
