The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- The covers have small areas of touch up to the ears and horns, one ear has been off and restuck
- Expected minor wear to the gilding and to the rims of the vessels
- Each leg of the vessel pierced with a hole, which is inherent to manufacture
- Some small burst air bubbles and small firing cracks, which are inherent to manufacture
