This Autumn, Christie’s Hong Kong is honoured to present Ceramics and Works of Art from the Yidetang Collection, showcasing a diverse and representative examples of Chinese porcelain. The range truly reflects the collector’s passion and varied appreciation of art, particularly strong in the imperial ceramics of the Ming and Qing dynasties. Highlights of the sale include a Xuande mark and period blue and white ‘lotus’ dish and a rare pair of Qianlong marks and period iron-red decorated famille rose café-au-lait ground wall vases. The sale will be on view at the HKCEC alongside Christie’s Autumn Auctions from 25–29 November 2023.
