Christie’s is pleased to present the online sale Chicago Classical: A Private Collection, running from 5-19 November. Featuring Neoclassical decorative arts from the late 18^th and early 19^th centuries, this collection encompasses the interiors of a carefully curated apartment overlooking Lake Michigan. As pictured in the images of the harmonious interiors, lots include fine English and French furniture, porcelain, tapestries and clocks. Additionally, important painting and drawing highlights from the collection are being featured in Classic Week sales, including works by Angelica Kauffmann, Jean-Jacques-Francois Le Barbier and Baron Francois-Pascal-Simon Gerard.

Highlights from the online sale will be on view at Christie’s Rockefeller Center alongside Classic Week, 9-13 from October.
