The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Dish: - surface is very worn
- a hairline extend from the mouth rim to the well
- foot has been polished
- a few small glaze gaps to side of foot
Censer:
- a few rim hairlines with associated coating and chips to mouth
- one foot restuck with associated small loss to glaze
- some polishing to all feet
- a few chips to the underside of base
- overall wear
Vase:
- tiny chips, some minor fritting and a hairline to mouth rim
- scattered minor firing flaws such as firing crack, kiln grit, iron spots and burst bubbles
- expected light abrasion to raised edges and extremities
- a few shallow chips to foot and the foot is a bit rough
