THREE AGATE BOTTLES
18TH/19TH CENTURY
The first bottle is of flattened, rounded form and is carved from the warm, honey-toned stone with some accents of red and with a soft polish. The second is of rounded, square form on an oval footrim and carved from the taupe, honey and white-banded stone. The third bottle of elongated pear-form fashioned from the grayish-taupe stone with reddish inclusions and carved with mask and ring handles on the narrow sides.
1 9/16, 2¼, 2½ in. ( 3.9, 5.8, 6.4 cm.) high, simulated coral, glass and hardstone stoppers (3)
