We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture. The first: there is a large glaze touch mark in the iron-red pants of one man, some iron-red is rubbed and there is a small chip to the outer mouthrim, which has been polished. The gilding on the mouth has been rubbed. There is rubbing to the iron red, gilding, and turquoise enamels in areas. The second: There is a small chip, with associated area of polish under the mouthrim. There is rubbing to the overglaze enamels and to the iron red. The gilding on the mouth has been rubbed. The third: There is a glaze flake to the pink enamel of the figure riding the elephant. There is some rubbing to the overglaze and iron red enamel to the bottle.
