Lot Essay
The Rolex Day-Date was introduced in 1956 and is still in production. It was the first wristwatch to display the day and date written out in a window on the dial. The present example features a matte black dial with day written in Italian. The inside of the case back is stamped 1803. White gold Day-Date models are understated and make for great everyday watches.
