ABOUT THE WINE
Founded in the 18th century, Brane Cantenac was considered one of the finest second growths at the time of the 1855 classification. The current owner Henri Lurton took over from his father, Lucien Lurton. Renowned for its fine gravelly hillock, Henri strives to seek out a balance between vintage character and the wine’s intrinsic elegance. Famous for its deep, gravelly and mineral-rich soils, Brane possesses some of Margaux’s very finest plots.
