The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The sheet is hinged periodically along the upper edge to the backing board and undulates slightly. The edges of the sheet are deckled. Pinholes are to the corners, presumably a vestige of the artist's process. A few minute disturbed fibers are below the center right edge. Hairline craquelure with some minute spots of associated lifting are visible intermittently, most notably to the right quadrants. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
