The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- There is a hole to the body of max. approx. 2.5 x 1 cm. that is filled with plaster material. Small area still exposed.
- There are three kiln encrustations to the body.
- The neck has been restuck.
- There is a small glaze chip to the phoenix' feather.
- There is a small glaze chip to the mouth rim.
- The foot rim with old minor chips
