This March, Christie’s presents a dedicated online auction of works from The Collection of Thomas and Doris Ammann. This will be the first in a series of online sales dedicated to the breadth and scope of the monumental collection formed by Thomas and Doris Ammann. As co-founders of Thomas Ammann Fine Art, they became indisputable taste leaders in the art world, renowned for their expertise in the market. The series will showcase a range of New York and European artists from the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s, including highlights from Eric Fischl, Ross Bleckner, Martin Kippenberger, Albert Oehlen and Sigmar Polke. The Foundation’s proceeds from the online sales will benefit the Thomas and Doris Ammann Foundation, a newly established organisation dedicated to improving the lives of children worldwide.
