The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Provisional CR:
Good overall condition.
There are the inevitable dents, marks, scratches and rubbing due to age and use.
gilding: there are inevitable signs of tarnishing to the surface of the gilding.
Lacquer: there are two horizontal shrinkage cracks to the top and inevitable flakings throughout the lacquer as expected.
There are some restorations to the lacquer.
There are inevitable chips to the varnish, especially to the ring and feet.
