The lacquer with overall fine lines of craquelure, minor nicks, restorations and lifting, but in overall good condition. Areas of the gilt decoration refreshed. The sides of the cornice and the feet later, but expertly done to imitate Chinese lacquer. The sides of the cornice slightly raised and do not lie flush to the case. The pierce work doors with scattered separations, some reglues and some restoration. The hinges later. The interior of the upper section with three fixed shelves. The doors to the upper sections with three metal locking mechanisms, two of which are lacking screws and would benefit from being resecured. The back of the cabinet with age cracks and reinforcements. The interior of lower section with a removable shelf. Each door of the interior section with cracks to the carved decoration, would benefit from restoration. A section broken off and retained. Stable and ready to be placed. Together with one key.
