Good condition. With general overall marks, nicks and scratches as well as tiny losses and repairs as to be expected with age and use. Repairs and replacements around the gallery overall including the spindles. The catch in working order. The top with marks and scratches and a central ring. Old paper label with illegible ink inscription at the top of the pedestal under the top. Yellow chalk inscribed 6452 / 67 under top. The gallery with some losses to the brass stringing and small circular insets. The hinge blocks and bearers are later. Old brace under the tripod base. Repaired break to the ankle. The braces lacking a couple of screws underneath. A few very minor chipped losses to the carving. There are signs of previous bearers and they are different.
