The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In good appearance overall with typical minor marks, nicks, chips, surface scratches, tiny losses and repairs throughout commensurate with age and use. Re-gilt. The top with old repaired age splits to one side, visible from underneath. Scattered minor shrinkage cracks and fraying to veneers as well as areas with well-disguised patches and replacements throughout, and particularly to the circular edge supporting the top as to be expected. With a crack to the side of one foot where the castor attaches, however still apparently sturdy. With a few scuffs, chips, flakes and rubbing to the gilt elements throughout. Tilt-top mechanism in good functioning order, includes the necessary two brass head screw bolts. Ready to use.
