The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Good overall condition. There are the inevitable minor dents, marks, scratches, shrinkage cracks and rubbing consistent with age and use. As stated in the catalogue one is later. Late Louis XV console : There are some minor lifting to the veneer, with some scuff marks especially to the lower shelf. With some restorations with 'gomme lacque' paste filling especially to the lower rail of the back. There is one loss to the veneer to the back of the upper rail. Structurally sound. The later one : slightly wobbly. There are some minor lifting to the veneer especially to the upper corners. There are some restorations with 'gomme lacque' paste filling. There are some important water stains to the both shelves. There are some scuff marks and black marks especially to the middle shelf. Marbles : with some minor scratches chips especially to the edges.
