The red lacquer top decorated with pagodas and landscapes, supporting a platform with scrolling foliate base on scrolling feet enriched with shells, supporting a pair of blanc-de-Chine Chinese figures on a Louis XV twin-branch candelabrum with oak branches supporting foliate driptrays and nozzles, flanked on each side by a craquelure-glazed inkwell wrapped with vine leaves with a pierced cover, on a base with gadrooned rim on shell and foliate feet
