The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In good decorative condition and ready to hang. Not examined out of frame. The seals and molds well preserved, some with very fine cracks as to be expected. Some of the gilt paper surrounds lifting slightly. The frames with typical scattered nicks, faint marks and scratches. With some losses to the gilding on frames. Some of the frames with warping. The reverse of several frames secured with brown tape.
