The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The marble with several large cracks (would benefit from restoration). The case with scattered age and construction cracks throughout, the most pronounced age cracks to each side, will enhance with restoration. Some further surface cracks and minor abrasions and restorations to the mahogany veneer. The top central drawer with long vertical drip of an unknown liquid. The top beneath the marble separating in areas and is sunken towards the back. The foliate cast frieze mounts, the leaf cast capital mounts, the door handles, and the escutcheons of a later date. Ormolu generally with rubbing, surface dirt and some oxidation as expected with age and use. The bottom ormolu molding on the proper left side is bent and partially detached, recommend restoration.
