The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall in very good condition, sound and ready to place. With typical scattered light nicks, faint marks, and surface scratches. With some very minor age and shrinkage cracks, particularly to the stretcher. The ormolu with typical light rubbing and oxidation. The marble top with scattered surface scratching, each sealed with a varnish of some type. With some minor nicks and 'nibbles' to edges, one marble top with two repaired cracks and associated infilled repair. One example with some minor repairs to the stretcher and with additional supports to the underside, typical with age and use, not visible when placed. Present very well overall.
