Christie’s is delighted to have collaborated with journalist and tastemaker Gianluca Longo for this edition of The Collector sales. Style Editor for both British Vogue and Cabana Magazine, Gianluca has styled a series of vignettes featuring works from both sales, using the magnificent Great Conservatory in Syon Park as a backdrop.
The London Collector sales gather works representing 500 years of Decorative Arts spanning across over eight categories including European and English 18th and 19th century Furniture and Works of Arts, Ceramics, Silver, Gold Boxes and Clocks. Presented in two sessions, the live sale taking place on 12th November will showcase collector pieces selected for their distinctive qualities and provenances while the online sale, open for bidding from 27th October to 17th November, presents an eclectic offering curated to create unique living and dining spaces.
