The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The stone with natural colorations and inclusions. Dots and spots of yellow discoloration on the body and spots and areas in the hair. Small losses on the tips of the crescent moon. A dark vertical line of discoloration in the right side of the hair. At the joint from the marble to the bronze next to the proper right of the collar bone, some of the joining material is absent, creating a thin gap. On the bronze there are some areas of tarnish in the valleys. In the folds by the proper left shoulder there is a small hole, original to the cast. The socle with chips and nibbles at the edge and some repairs on the front edge. The pedestal elements with light surface dirt and particulates as well as natural inclusions and coloration. The detached grey socle is in excellent condition with some scratches at the upper edge.The other gray stone elemens of the pedestal with surface scratches, nibbles and small chips at the edges. The stem of the pedestal with a chip and partial reattachment near the upper edge. A five inch area of repair along the lower edge and small areas of fill, some probably original.
