We are delighted to present our Geneva Spirits online auction. The sale contains a selection of rare and treasured bottles, which will excite whisky lovers. An incredible bottle of The Yamazaki 55 Year Old is offered, in it’s Mizunara box with echizen washi paper decoration. In 1960 and 1964, American White Oak and Mizunara (local Japanese wood) casks were laid to rest at Yamazaki, these casks contained the beautiful liquid that is now known as The Yamazaki 55 Year Old. Released in 2020 by Chief Blender Shinji Fukuyo, descendent of Torii Shinjirō, the whisky is a powerful dram. A private collection of Japanese whiskies is also offered, Karuizawa features, with vintages ranging between 1980 and 2000. The Geisha, Samurai and Noh series all appear. The most collectable bottles are the La Maison du Whisky bottlings. Ichiro’s Malt is offered, alongside other family member’s distilleries, Chichibu and Hanyu. The Chichibu 2012 7 Year Old Darumas is an über sought after bottle of Japanese whisky. Scotch is also presented, with Glenfiddich, Highland Park, Arran, Glenmorangie, Laphroaig and Springbank all in a roll call of top names.
