Following the highly successful first and second installments of the single-owner collection sales at Christie's Hong Kong in 2021 and 2023, we are honored to bring you Part III of this collection, focusing on Moutai and Whisky, showcasing the breadth and depth of the collection.
Moutai, with its unique natural conditions, long history, and distinctive brewing technology, has become a singular entity in the baijiu family. As the baijiu market matures, many rare varieties of Moutai have become prized collectibles.
In this auction, we have carefully selected 173 bottles of high-quality Kweichow Moutai to provide customers with the finest examples. There is a wide range of items, including Feitian Moutai, the "Entering Series," as well as many rare aged Moutai and commemorative editions. Particularly eye-catching are "The Great Master Chang Dai-Chien Commemoration Edition 2012" and the “Kweichow Moutai HK Friends Of Moutai Special Edition 2008”.
On the whisky selection, highlights include the Macallan 18 Years Old series, 2 sets of the much sought-after Game of Thrones Limited Edition, and the famed Pappy Van Winkle Family Reserve 23 Year Old Bourbon.
The wine offerings come from various collections, highlights include top-notch Burgundies from producers like DRC, Domaine Leroy, Armand Rousseau, Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier, Georges Roumier, Prieuré Roch, Francois Raveneau, and Coche-Dury. Blue-chip Bordeaux, Champagne, Rhône, and acclaimed German Rieslings by Keller are also available.
All lots have been meticulously inspected and preserved, ensuring each bottle is in excellent condition and offering enthusiasts a rare collection opportunity.
