The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The paper is securely mounted to a panel, which is supported by a strainer and signed on the reverse by the artist. Artist pinholes are visible to the sheet at the upper edge and upper left corner. Minor wear is scattered at the corners and turning edges, notably the lower left corner. Wear is also to the underside of the lower side edge. A tiny loss is at the left edge near the upper left corner, and a faint scuff is visible near the upper right corner. Under close inspection, pale brown accretions are scattered on the surface and are mostly visible in the pale painted passages. On the reverse of the panel, tiny brown accretions are scattered throughout. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
