The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The canvas is slightly slack and undulates. Wear and fine hairline cracking with minute spots of associated lifting are intermittently along the extreme edges and corner tips. A horizontal linear crack is in the white passage near the lower left corner. A few spots of rubbing and fibrous accretions are scattered throughout, in passages of heavier paint application. A raised crack with associated lifting is to the red and black passage right of center. A small passage of hairline cracking is to the black passage in the lower left quadrant. Under ultraviolet light, some small areas of inpainting are visible near the lower corners.
