Five Private Collections

Sale Overview

Christie’s is delighted to present Five Private Collections, selling online from 5-19 July comprising a wide variety of works of fine and decorative art from five distinctive collections. Estimates range from £300-£70,000.

The sale comprises Works of Art from The David and Rose Rowse Collection, The Walter and Fiona Goetz Collection, The Schroder Collection, The Anthony and Marietta Coleridge Collection and a small group of furniture from The Collection of Margaret Thatcher, Baroness Thatcher of Kesteven L.G., O.M.

The sale includes an eclectic offering of English and European Furniture, Old Master Paintings, Antiquities, Impressionist and Modern art and Chinese works of art. Each collection visualises the unique passions of the individual collectors and the interiors they created.
