The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall good condition; with minor surface wear and scratches to the enamel consistent with age and use; as noted, the wood bases later; losses to the gold paint of the wood bases; one with a 1³⁄₄ in. long loss to the wood base; the other with losses to the gilt decoration at the mouth and foot rims of the vase; the vases not examined out of mount; the vases drilled; please note that Christie's does not guarantee the working order of electricity; the shades with minor light staining and fraying.
