The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The first, good impression and colour. Each sheet backed. A heavy vertical fold top to bottom near the left edge of each sheet, with associated paper damages. Slight soiling and rubbing.
The second, good impression and colour. Some soiling, rubbing and creasing to each sheet. Left sheet with a tear repaired at the top left corner and wear to paper edge in particular along left-hand edge.
The third, one sheet lacking. Good impression and colour. Some creasing and soiling overall.
The fourth, soiled, rubbed and slight fading. Trimmed and with damages to paper along left edge.
The fifth, fair impression, some fading. Soiled, rubbed, trimmed, backed and paper damages.
The last five soiled, rubbed, wear to edges and some damages.
