Opaque pigments heightened with gold on paper, Aurangzeb on his mount facing left, haloed, wearing an intricate turban with sarpech, a long dark pink winter coat and striped trousers, his left hand holding the reins, the right resting on his horse's mane, a in a landscape with floral ground, between pink and green borders with gold floral scrolls, with black rules, laid down on card with gold floral lattice; Muhammad Shah, facing right, leaning on a large bolster at a window adorned with intricate textiles, wearing a green turban, a burgundy jama with gold floral bud motifs, pearl necklaces and bracelets, this left hand holding a bejewelled sarpech, his right hand resting on his chest, between wide plain pink and green borders with gold floral scrolls, laid down on cream card with gold floral lattice
