The first generally good condition throughout with some typical creasing and toning to some pages. There is some light soiling to a few pages. Volume 1 with some tears and small damages to the inside title page. Volumes 3 and 4 with endpapers lacking. Covers with typical wear consistent with age and use including creasing, soiling and small surface losses to paper. Title slips with similar wear and losses. String bindings replaced and loose.
The second, generally good condition overall. Covers with some soiling and creasing consistent with age. Some endpapers slightly loose. Pages generally clean with minor creasing and wear. String bindings replaced.
