A Pair of Arita Hanaike [Flower Vases]
Edo period (late 17th - early 18th century)
Each modelled as a leaping carp, decorated in iron-red, purplish pink wash, brown enamel and gilt on underglaze blue, the fish scales clearly delineated, each with a small hole to the rear for a hook attachment
