This September, Christie’s London presents Jasper Conran The Collection Parts I and II, offering a unique opportunity to delve into the magical world of Jasper’s country house vision. Jasper is a great champion and devotee of this most particular style having owned some extraordinary houses, including Walpole House, Chiswick, Flemings, Suffolk, Ven House, Somerset and most recently New Wardour Castle, Wiltshire. His vision of collecting and love of the English country house was present from an early age and forged with early stays at treasure houses such as Longleat and Woburn. Coming from arguably the greatest family of designers, with a name synonymous with taste and design, it is unsurprising his life has been one surrounded by beauty and craftsmanship. Presented over a live auction and an online session, this eclectic ensemble spans fine and decorative arts, portraiture, sculpture, porcelain, furniture and more.
