Christie’s Private & Iconic Collections presents JAY-Z: The Book of HOV | Celebrating an Icon at the Brooklyn Public Library, a single-lot online auction dedicated to Shawn “JAY-Z” Carter’s global cultural influence. As part of an immersive exhibition, Roc Nation created 14 limited-edition metallic library cards, featuring artwork from JAY-Z's 13 iconic solo albums — from Reasonable Doubt to 4:44 — and The Book of HOV exhibition. This unique sale is comprised of this complete set of metallic library cards, along with a The Book of HOV bookmark, all housed in a bespoke leather case signed by JAY-Z. The assemblage celebrates JAY-Z's musical, entrepreneurial and philanthropic impact on his hometown of Brooklyn and communities across the world. The collection is offered in tandem with the closing of the library's tribute exhibition The Book of HOV, a multimedia showcase of original recording masters, awards, exclusive photos and more. Proceeds from the sale will benefit the Brooklyn Public Library.
