Michel Roux took over the restaurant in 1989 and continued his father and uncle's legacy, winning numerous accolades, including the Lifetime Achievement Award and the Michelin Chef Mentor Award. Over the years, some of the most internationally renowned chefs, including Gordon Ramsay, Marco Pierre White, Marcus Wareing, Monica Galetti and Pierre Koffmann, have trained in the prestigious Le Gavroche kitchens.
