Please note that this work is being sold as received by Christie's from the consignor. Any visible wear is consistent with age and typical for objects of this type. The Maillets did not undertake any cleaning or restoration or interventions of any kind, and no conservation work has been carried out by Christie’s. The Maillets were selective in their acquisitions, avoiding pieces in significantly poor condition.
