Notre tableau est sur sa toile d'origine. La toile semble avoir été reclouée au châssis et une bande de tension semble avoir été apposée le long du bord supérieur.

A l'oeil nu, la toile gondole et on constate des petits enfoncements le long du bord gauche. On constate une craquelure un peu ouverte en haut, vers l'épaule du modèle, et un léger manque dans le fond.

A l'UV, on constate des retouches ponctuelles dans les bruns et des retouches plus importantes dans le coin inférieur gauche correspondant à une marque à l'arrière de la toile. Sous un vernis fin uniforme.

Dans un cadre en bois doré (approx. 84 x 72 cm.).

The painting is unlined. The canvas seems to have been nailed again to the stretcher and a strip lining seems to have been added on along the upper border.

To the naked eye, we can see that the canvas is slightly bowed, with small dips along the left edge. A slightly opened crack in the upper part, close to the model's shoulders and a small loss to the background are noticeable.

Ultraviolet examination reveals scattered retouching to the brown parts and more extensive retouching to the lower left corner which corresponds to a stain at the back of the canvas. Under a light, even surface layer of varnish.

In a giltwood frame (approx. 84 x 72 cm.).
