A l'oeil nu, on constate une salissure sur le visage. On ne constate pas de repeints.

A l'UV, le tableau est sous un vernis vert épais uniforme dissimulant d'anciennes campagnes probables de restauration. On constate une petite retouche sur la manche gauche.

The painting has been executed on an uncradled panel. The support remains stable.

To the naked eye, we can see some dirt on the face. No retouching can be seen.

Ultraviolet examination reveals that the painting is under an even surface, thick, green coat of varnish which precludes a more in depth examination of any previous restoration campaigns. There is a small retouched area on the left sleeve.
