The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Gouache, pastel, lithographic ink, paper collage, pen and brush and wash and India ink and pencil on wove paper. The lower edge deckled, the other edges very slightly irregular. The collage element in the upper right background slightly lifting at the lower right corner but otherwise securely attached. Some light rubbing to the sheet in two places in the background, from the time of execution and consistent with the artist's technique. The pigments are strong and fresh. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally very good condition.
